摘要：Energy supply in proper conditions is one of the strategies and objectives to follow in order to improve the standard of living of more than 2,000 million persons that do not have access to the electricity all over the world. Existence of supply sustainable models is one of the requisites needed to advance in the attainment of the Development Millennium Goals for 2015 established by the United Nations. This article makes a review of the leading elements that need to be considered when initiating electricity supply projects in developing countries. The main conclusions of the article have been obtained through the analysis of a survey that was distributed among experts from all over the world at the end of year 2004. The objective of the survey was to identify and evaluate different proposals for financing and organising energy projects in rural areas.
