摘要:The study aims to investigate teachers’ views about adoption and application of the Primary Science and Technology Curriculum began to be used since 2004-2005 education year. In the study, qualitative research design was used. The data were gathered through semi-structured interviews conducted with 5 classroom teachers who work at various primary schools in Çayeli/Rize. The gathered data were presented by classifying under categories. Finally, it was concluded that teachers found the new primary science curriculum as appropriate, believed it will be successful and tried to apply it effectively, but they faced some problems since they did not know it very well. The study ends with suggestions to better introduce the curriculum to the teachers and increase its effectiveness.
