摘要：ITAB has always promoted investment facilitation and open markets as a means for
property tax collecting First Nations to improve the revenue potential of their tax bases.
To this end, ITAB has completed a ten year research agenda about allowing markets to
work more efficiently on First Nation lands. Moreover, ITAB has also developed and
delivered specialized education and training programs in the areas of property taxation,
assessment, communication and dispute resolution to First Nation tax administrators and
other interested students. This ongoing training has always supported the goal of
creating investor confidence in First Nation administrations.
