  • 摘要:Socio-economic changes in today’s work life lead employees and groups to search for “meaning” in all things they do. The expectations of employees change and materialism loses its popularity day by day due to the importance given to non-economic values such as personal development, commitment, hope (Konz et.al., 1999). Both the employees and managers, who spend most of their time at work, try to find meaning through questioning their work and the contributions of this work for themselves and the society. In this respect the employees, who want to reach an inner consciousness and bond, want to work at organizations in which they think that they do something useful and feel that they are a part of a whole. Besides they aim to work at an organizational climate in which emotions, common values, commitment, team spirit and togetherness are cared. The aim of this study is to focus on changes in leadership approaches due to the developments in today’s arena and transformations in the expectations of employees. In paralel with these changes we introduce a new perspective – Positive Leadership Approach - the reasons why we need these new approaches and the contributions of them.
