摘要：The purpose of this article is to suggest strategies for the successful operation of 'Revitalizing Project' for the less favored rural regions. In order to draw the strategies, the problems of existing regional development projects are analyzed and the background of 'Revitalizing Project' is examined. Besides it is analyzed whether ‘Revitalizing Project’ can be applied to relevant regions within the object of the project.
The strategies for the successful operation of ‘Revitalizing Project’ are as follows: First, ‘Revitalizing Project’ should be intended to create synergy effects through the minimization of overlapping and the mutual connection with existing regional development projects. Moreover, the differences in project contents and scope should be cleared. And the increase of working expenses and the intensive investment in the items which have great ripple effects are needed. In order to build the Regional Innovation System(RIS), it is desirable to concentrate the project expenses especially on the development of brain ware. In addition, the reorganization and revitalization of the Regional Innovation Council is needed. Finally, the circumstances under which various bodies such as residents, private businesses, and so on, are able to participate in the project harmoniously should be prepared.
