摘要：One of the most serious problems existent in our society and that happens in the family environment is the interfamily violence, which is a kind of violence practiced against children and adolescents. And this problem is increasing frightfully, and becoming more and more serious for those that worry in giving integral protection to these citizens of rights. Based on this, the present article approaches the subject regarding the use of techniques of Zoo therapy, also applied in Porto Alegre-RS, as a lesson of love and citizenship, that is, the trained and socialized dog to aid in the attendance of children victims of interfamily violence.
