摘要：The text refers to the moment at which it was launched the foundation of the science of Law, resplendent up to the contemporaneousness. The reception or the rebirth of the Roman Law through the texts of the Corpus Iuris Civilis with Irnério by the School of the Glossarists provided the theoretical environment for the development of techniques and knowledges in order that they would be able to deal with this text that, at the first moment, was considered a divine providence, being equal to the consecrated texts like the Bible. At this cultural-historical moment, the Religion, the Catholic Church accupies an important role in the welcome and in the use of the Roman texts and still, based on the universality and unity presented in the Roman Empire, claims for itself the imperial figure in the intention of consolidating the Christian Empire in the medieval period. So, the connection between Religion an Law forms the initial point of the legal science, jointly, with the formation of the Universities
