This article is a summary of a general reflection on the epistemology of education research based on a specific study but not absolutely derived from it. The first part presents some results of a case study done with teacher educators on the pedagogical integration of ICTs. The second part explores the results of this research in relation to themethodology used in this study. In this part, results froma semi-structured discussion and a discussion using the construct analysis method allowed a comparison of the two data collection methods. The article ends with a dynamic epistemological metaphor illustrating the mutual construction of knowledge that occurs during interactions with others, others who oblige us to reflect on our interventions and whom we encourage to question their practices.
