摘要：The present research shows from a series of interviewes realized in a sample of old age people who regularly attend to a diurnal home, which was specifically built for this purpose, in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico. The interviewes included aspects like general satisfaction in life, attitudes, knowledge and practices about sexuality of this aged group. We found statistically significant differences between the attitude of men and women toward sexuality, men and women who have a sexual partner and those who do not have it. We also found a statistically significant difference among those aged people who have one illness, those who do not have any, and those who have two or more ilnesses regarding the frequencey in their sexual activity. It is worthy to point out the lack of knowledge on the basic aspects of sexuality that these people have, so it is necessary to establish educational programs including health personnel and the same aged people.
