  • 摘要:This study was carried out to investigate the effects of a computer-assisted instruction (CAI) program on concept development of six-years-old children attending to a kindergarten. A total of 100 children of which half of them are in the experimental group and the rest is in the control group was included in the study. Computer assisted instruction supporting concept development of the children in the experimental group was applied during 15 weeks and once a week. Two data collection instruments were used to obtain data for this research: ¡°Bracken Basic Concept Scale-Revised¡± developed by Bracken (1998) and ¡°General Information Form¡± prepared by the researcher. At the end of the study, a meaningful difference (p<.05) was found between experimental and control group in terms of conceptual development.
