摘要:The purpose of this research is to examine the teacher candidates¡¯ views for the materials developed in the
course of instructional technologies and material design, and to compare the teacher candidates¡¯ and the
instructors¡¯ assessments for these materials. 62 teacher candidates participated in the study. They were the third
grade students in Mersin University, Faculty of Education, Department of ELT (day and evening classes). The
results of the analysis point to a significant difference between the teacher candidates¡¯ self assessment of their
materials and the instructors¡¯ assessment of the teacher candidates¡¯ materials. The teacher candidates¡¯ assessment
of their own performance was found to be higher than the instructor¡¯s assessment.
