  • 摘要:Conscious of the need that students have for apprehending information from their textbooks, this paper reports the benefits offered by the sketched discussion strategy in reading comprehension. Results of this pedagogical experience allowed to infer the following conclusions: a) it is confirmed that reader's psychosocial experiences guarantee prior information which allows him/her to know and discover the author's ideas; that is, “dialogize with the author”; b) the text can either facilitate or obstruct reading comprehension; c) the Sketched Discussion strategy secures a reflexive - analytical exercise with highly significant effect in students' goals when print material is adapted to the readers.
