This study investigated the scientific production of the Teste Gestáltico Viso-Motor de Bender, among the years of 1999 to 2008. Ten journals were studied, in which 18 articles were analyzed based on the following criteria: amount of articles published per year, type of paper, region of the research, quality of the authors, authors' gender, type of work, contexts in which the instrument has been administered and relations with other constructs. The data evidenced an increase of publications in the last three years, and the year with larger number of articles was 2007. The research report was the most used form and southeast region had published more. There was still the predominance of multiple and female authors as well as the researches employed tests or scales with Bender, and therefore relationships with other constructs.
