摘要:This study determined the relationships between cultural competency and performance among extension workers at Department of Agriculture, Malaysia. The sample consisted of 210 extension workers from Department of Agriculture in four states of Malaysia. The study employed stratified random sampling technique. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analysis. The findings support positive relationship between cultural competency and performance. Finding would help extension managers to focus on development of culturally competent extension workers at Department of Agriculture. Cultural competency could be incorporated into in-service training as well.
