摘要：In the central region of Argentina the formation of an institutionalized archaeology was a late development compared with other parts of the country. Just at the beginning of 1940 began a process of institutionalization that lasted over time, albeit with ups and downs due to various factors. In this process were involved both professional and amateur archaeologists, with greater or lesser distance to a incipient professional archaeology, who were linked with the archaeologists and had a role in developing the archaeological field in the region. In particular, here we discuss the many ways in which these relations were articulated as well as that produced by the staff within the Institute of Archaeology, Language and Folklore of the National University of Cordoba, in the decades of 1940 and 1950.
