摘要：The Specimen Shell Managed Fishery (SSF) is based on the
collection of individual shells for the purposes of display,
collection, cataloguing, classification and sale.
Up to 550 different shellfish species are collected by hand by
a small group of divers operating from small boats in shallow
coastal waters. While the fishery covers the entire Western
Australian coastline, there is some concentration of effort in
areas adjacent to population centres such as metropolitan Perth,
Bunbury, Albany and Port Hedland.
