This paper focus on two branches of psychological knowlwdge, namely neuropsychology and pathopsychology, as new fields of work for the clinic psychologist and on the increasing interest which both have awakened among cuban psychologist in the last years. Neuro and pathopsychology are a significant contributions to the enrichment of psychological knowlwdge and thus help to solve practical problems in modern clinical analysis through the particular methods they provide. At present, research on this area is bring carried out in Cuba. An example of this.is the work which is being done with regards to the structure of a system for restablishing (rehabilitation) disturbed ability for intellectual work in neurotic patients. This investigation is based in a psychological model which approaches psychotherapy as a system of orthpsychological (psychecorrecting) actions, description of the basis ofmotivational and personalities factors, psychological description of esquizophrenic patients by means of neuropsychological techniques as well as neuropsychological methods of "rehabilitation" of verbal comunication.
