In the present paper a systemic pattern is structured by which the main roles played by the psyche in the determination of health are defined. These roles are as follows: 1. As part of the internal mechanism of production of diseases of a certain nature.. 2. As an internal mechanism of regulation of the activities that can propitiate or hinder health. To conclude it can be said that it is difficult or maybe impossible to find a real sickness status where the psychical factor does not play any role, since man as regards personality is always a subject and never an object of health.
