摘要:The intention of this article is to affirm the intangible not only tangible character of an archaeological heritage and demonstrate the importance and value of personal narratives towards an understanding of some of the meanings associated nowadays with this kind of heritage. It examines, through Bauman and Briggs (2000) analytical perspective, how a biographic memory from a small landholder in an archaeological rock art site in Lago Puelo, in the province of Chubut, in Patagonia, Argentina, imbricates or dialogues with the social memory that this place of memory indexes as the cultural heritage of a province. It particularly focus the analysis in three axes or tensions that organize her personal narrative which, in my point of view, also put us in path that this rock art pursues until today.
