  • 摘要:All three major per capita food supply measurements¡ª food available for consumption, nutrients available for consumption, and the food supply adjusted for spoilage and other losses in the home and marketing system¡ªsuggest that Americans in the 1990¡¯s are consuming more food and several hundred more calories per person per day than did their counterparts in the late 1950¡¯s (when per capita calorie consumption was at the lowest level in this century), or even in the 1970¡¯s.
