摘要：In this talk we have tried to shortly address some of the problems related with the optimization
of those b -beam facilities that can be developed using existing or projected infrastructures at
CERN (such as the PS, the SPS, the PS2 and the SPS+). The relative impact of an increase
in the number of stored ions or of the boosting factor g on the sensitivity to q13,d or the sign
of the atmospheric mass difference is reviewed, together with issues related to the production,
acceleration and storage of 6He, 18Ne, 8Li and 8B ions.
