摘要:We develop a variational theory of hot dense matter which generalizes the zero temperature variational
methods to finite temperatures without any orthogonality corrections. This method can
be used to calculate the equation of state for matter in supernovae, protoneutron stars and also
heavy-ion collisions using only realistic two nucleon and three nucleon forces as inputs. We
present some results obtained with this method for symmetric nuclear matter.
