This article describes the links that exist between certain components of the Pedagogy of Actualization and an environment-related educational approach (ERE) based on experiential learning. First of all, we define what experiential learning is and then describe how it relates to ERE. After having explained how experiential learning facilitates the acquisition or reinforcement of positive attitudes toward the environment, we briefly present ERE work done in the school and community setting in New Brunswick, based on an experiential learning perspective. Finally, in relating the ERE experiential learning objectives and components to the Pedagogy of Actualization, we explain how this work translates the principles of this approach into something concrete.
