摘要：The summer Observer programme has surpassed its target
of 900 observer sea days, having achieved more than 950
days onboard 47 fi shing vessels. Observers have also
recorded around 800 Hector¡¯s dolphin ¡®sighting events.¡¯
I would like to thank all those inshore fi shers who allowed
Observers onboard¡ªyour cooperation is vital to the success
of any Observer programme.
