摘要：Romania¡¯s status of member of the European Union forced our country to ensure and
respect certain imposed standards with regard to environment protection. Part of these norms refers to
waste management and to the elimination to the greatest rate possible the negative effects exerted by
this activity upon environment. By means of GIS, there can be obtained a series of scenarios for the
routes waste collection and transportation equipments have to follow in order to reduce traffic
blocking, atmospheric pollution, phonic pollution, as well as the overall costs salubrity services
requires.
