摘要：Upon executing the directives of the European Union for the regional development, the larger
part of North-eastern Bulgaria is differentiated as a separate region for planning and development. It
includes the districts of Varna, Dobrich, Shumen and Silistra. The report analyses the main economical
branches, the transport infrastructure and other features of the region concerning the further activation and
thoroughness of the cooperation with the Romanian contact euroregions - Muntenia and the South-eastern
development region.
