摘要：The aim of this paper is to analyse the Miocene ¨C Pleistocene evolution within the Carpathian Vorland
and Wallachian Platform from Oltenia region. The characteristics of marine, brackish, fresh water deposits and the
variation of the sedimentation basin limits are analysed. The tectonics of these deposits is also presented.
