摘要:Modelization and calculus of concrete structures are generally based in assumption of homogeneity and continuity in the internal structure during the load process. These hypothesis are justified by the reduced range of stresses assumed during design and calculation of these structures (plain concrete structures) and by the use of steel reinforcements bars in reinforced concrete structures. Despite these considerations, we know that at microstructural scale, concrete is a very heterogeneous material and it behavior can be strongly nonlinear depending on the load history suffered by the material. In this paper we present a Microstructural Constitutive Model for Concrete based on the Plastic Flow Theory. Discontinuities are modeled using combinations of quadrilateral plane isoparametric elements and interface elements to simulate cracks propagation in the mortar matrix or in aggregates.
