摘要：Wide health disparities are evident the wor ld over . Dramat ic inequal i t ies
dominate global health. I t is thi r ty years af ter the landmark agreement was
reached in 1978 by 134 Member States of the Wor ld Heal th Organizat ion
gather ing in Alma Ata to adopt pr imary heal th care as the key st rategy for
achieving “heal th for al l“ by the year 2000. A lot remains to be done. Primary
health care is more urgent ly needed now than ever before.
