摘要:An experimental and numerical analysis of the thermomechanical behaviour of a cylindrical specimen used in the tensile test is presented in this work. To this end, several experiments have been conducted on SAE 1020 steel specimens. The mathematical model considered in the present study is defined in the contiunum mechanics framework of solids subjected to large strains where the corresponding discretized formulation is written in the context of the finite element method. Finally, an experimental validation of this model is presented by using the tensile characteristic curves of the test.
