摘要：This paper states parameters to make easier shell design. To obtain them, an optimization technique that minimize bendings have been employed. With this aim, a parameter called Volumetric Flexure is introduced. It takes into count the difference between the main stresses produced on each face of the shell. At the same time, with the objective of minimize displacements, it has been defined another parameter called Volumetric Displacement, that considers the displacements produced in all the structure, and not only the highest ones like is usual.
