  • 摘要:The separation of parts of the annual cycle with the similar features of the structure of frequency of appearance of circulation types over Poland is the aim of this paper. The calendar of circulation types by Lityński (Stępniewska-Podrażka 1991) was used. The method, which was prepared earlier (Nowosad 1998), was applied after performing some modifications. Eight circulation seasons were defined (with different duration): From 21 Nov. to 5 Feb. (77 days). The NW direction occurred the most often among directions of air advections in this season. From 6 to 23 Feb (18 days). Circulation from SE dominated decidedly in this season. From 24 Feb. to 14 Mar. (19/20 days). The annual maximum of the frequency of air advection from the east appeared. From 15 Mar. to 6 Apr. (23 days). The annual maximum of the frequency of appearance of circulation types SWc, Wc, NWc took place. From 7 to 16 Apr (10 days). There was the annual maximum of the frequency of air circulation from SW direction. From 17 Apr. to 23 June (68 days). The annual maximum of the frequency of air advection from NE direction took place in this season. From 24 June to 25 July (32 days). Air advections from N and NW dominated in this period. From 26 July to 20 Nov. (118 days). It was decidedly the longest season. The air advections from SW dominated then. The number of seasons was greater in spring than in autumn. The similar differentiation was received after analysis of circulation seasons over the upper Vistula river basin (Nowosad 1998). Large variability of the structure of atmospheric circulation in the first part of April was most conspicuous.
