  • 摘要:The studies were carried out on variously utilized soils of the main physiographical regions in East Poland. For laboratory studies the more important soil units of the above mentioned regions were taken (Fig. 1). The authors determined the basic soil properties and 8 heavy metals (Mn, Zn, Cu, Pb, Co, Ni, Cr, Cd) - their total forms, soluble in 1M HCl and DTPA - by AAS technique. The results are presented in three tables and four figures. The analysis of the obtained results is as follows: 1. The content of the study heavy metals shows a great differentiation depending of the kind and form of the metal, soil type and the genetic horizon as well as on the granulation of the soil and kind of its utilization. 2. The soils of East Poland occur in ecologically pure regions. The content of their heavy metals does not only exceed the standards assumed for soils of arable lands, but it is generally within the limits of their natural content. They can therefore be a medium for production of healthy food for people and animals. 3. A decisive effect on accumulation of the heavy metals exerted by organic substance and the content of particles <0.02 mm, particularly colloid ones (<0.002 mm). Hence their highest content is usually found in humus horizons and also in those of B enrichment of lessivié, podzolic and brown soils, sometimes in underlying and bed rocks. 4. Some of the metals migrate in the profiles, which is shown by their diminished content in E horizons of podzolic and lessivé soils, as well as by their increase in B horizons.
