摘要:Aiming to deepen the study of the mechanisms and institutional
practices that produce school success, we intend to develop ma survey in eight
schools, four municipal and four private, in 2009. The research will focus the
pedagogical practices and the management processes at schools in the city of Rio
de Janeiro that are recognized for the excellence of their teaching based on the
results obtained by their students in public exams that evaluate school
proficiency. The text details the procedures undertaken to choose the public
schools that shall integrate the investigation. The results of Prova Brasil 2005 and
2007 were used, considering the hypothesis of a rigorous control both of extra-
school factors, expressed by the socio-economical level of the students, as well as
those related to the organizational structure of the schools. Thereby we intended
to articulate macro and micro information in order to enable a relational analysis
of the data to be collected.
