标题:EFFECTS OF PLY ORGANIZATON TO BENDING STRENGTH AND ELASTICITY MODULUS OF WOODEN COMPOSITE LAMINATED MATERIALS FROM BEECH- (Fagus orientalis Lipsky.) AND POPLAR (Populus nigra) WOODS
摘要:In this study, bending strength and elasticity modulus of wooden materials laminated with various
compositions from the sliced veneer 3mm in thickness of Beech (Fagus orientalis Lipsky.) and Poplar (Populus nigra)
woods were researched. The specimens laminated at 8 various compositions as –AAAAAAA- (7A), -BBBBBBB-(7B), -
ABBBBBA-, -ABABABA-, -AABBBAA-, -AABABAA-, -ABBABBA-, -BABABAB- and solid Beech and Poplar
specimens for control purpose at the same measures with the laminated specimens were prepared. Polivinil acetat
(PVAc-kleiberit 303) glue was used to bond the plies of the laminated specimens. A total of 160 specimens (16
specimens per variation) was prepared and bending strength, elasticity modulus, and air-dry specific gravity of these
specimens were determined in accordance with TS EN 310. Acording to data obtained statistically from the tests, the
bending strength and elasticity modulus values of the laminated woods are higher from the values of solid woods. In
addition, the strength properties develope as addition proportion of Beech wood increases.
