摘要：Welcome to the 61st annual meeting of the Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission. Out of curiosity, I went back and looked at what the Commission discussed at its first annual meeting. One topic of discussion was that the existing methods of determining sport catches were inadequate and better methods were needed. Also at that time, both Washington and Oregon were encouraged to institute or revise laws to prevent incidental introductions of exotic marine organisms, and the Commission stated that more studies were needed to evaluate the economics of the fishery resources.
