摘要:The Columbia River PIT Tag Information System (PTAGIS) is a data collection, distribution and coordination project. The project marked over 1,495,000 juvenile salmonids with passive integrated transponder (PIT) tags for the 2007 out-migration through the Columbia and Snake River systems, compared to over 1,991,000 in 2006 (Tables 1 & 2). In 2007, over 626,000 tagged fish were detected (Table 3). These fish generated over 8,085,000 interrogation records (Table 4). One fish can generate many interrogation records, depending upon how many interrogation sites or monitors ‘saw’ the fish.
