摘要：The decay of Giant Resonances is analyzed through the Statistical Multi-step Compound Nucleus
Theory. This decay is interpreted in terms of the Damping, Preequilibrium Escape and Direct
Escape Widths. An analysis of the results obtained for the total width of isoscalar electric giant
monopole in 60Ni isotope is made comparing with experimental data.
