摘要:The present study analyzes the research concepts which permeate the work of teachers when they propose activities that involve the internet as information source. It has tried to understand the reasons why some teachers manifest a limited vision of research as a mere copy, transcription or transference of contents, without any critical reflection on its real significance as a teaching activity. The investigation was carried through with twelve teachers of a private school at the city of Castro, about 150 kilometers from Curitiba. The data has been collected by means of the application of a questionnaire followed by semi-structured interviews. Although all of them recognize the importance of research in the educational process, their speech discloses incoherent points between their concept of research and practices developed in their teaching action. What emerges from these speeches is that although teachers are interested in including research in the educational process, there is a great difficulty in developing actions that reflect its emancipatory character. The study has demonstrated, furthermore, that changing the concept of research is essential to the exploitation of any technological resources in educational practices.
