摘要:The aim of this paper is to reflect on the inclusion of two paradigmatic objects of technological advances in school: the cellular phone and the computer. Cellular phones and computers came into the classrooms by two different ways: "spontaneously" and as a fact resulting form educational policy. The route of the work will be: first, the concept of "scholastic grammar" and "scholastic culture" will be presented to analyze the relation between innovations and schools. Second, it will be shown how the relation between schools, cellular phones and the computers has been, analyzing in which way and why they have been included or denied by schools. Finally, some conclusions will be presented about potentials and limits these new objects present to school to promote learning of new and "old" competencies.
