摘要:The present article is part of a Master’s Degree research in Brazilian Education (PUC-Rio) and is intended to approach the probable slants and mediations that organize the production of meaning, through cinematographic productions. The surveyed group consisted of, approximately, thirty children who were unfamiliar with the experience of being spectators in a projection room until August 2006, when we started to accompany them to movie sessions and to exhibit films with the aid of a multimedia projector. The present research identifies in the recently developed studies on reception in Latin America a relevant possibility of theoretical and methodological analysis, since these studies do not hypertrophy the senders’ functions, qualifications and possibilities and, in this way, they have been able to, progressively, break up with the homogeneous logic schematically expressed in terms of SENDER ? RECEIVER.
