摘要:This paper aims at presenting a research carried out with students of kindergarten. It also intends to describe some perceptions teachers hold in regard to the use of cell phones in schools. In addition, it shall be presented some everyday stories told by students from the Pedagogy School of a privative institution. Throughout this text, we shall focus on the analysis ofeveryday life as well as search for a methodological understanding and evaluation of what had not yet been realized about our classrooms. We tried to raise a discussion on how we manage to produce new/old cultures from the daily contact with new technologies and their users. Finally, we are going to report observations registered during a study performed throughout 2006 in a number of situations involving the use of cell phones. This essay presupposes that a work concerned with digital inclusion and literacy should simultaneously deal with the matters of reading and writing skills acquisition and the learning of new technologies. In this sense, reading, writing and the learning of new technologies should not be seen as parallel and/or distinct processes in didactic situations that allow pupils to discuss and achieve knowledge about language and the use of cell phones in the classroom.
