摘要:This study had purpose to identify the meanings assigned per elderly women about his educational process and analisy the empowerment reached per these women after his insertion educational in the unconventional. The references theoretical are based in Freire (2003) and Labonte (1999), among other. Were interviewed ten woman of the group social-educational in an University Hospital situaded in Rio de Janeiro. We did the analysis thematic of testimonies. The education process propitiated the empowerment to these women, because possibilited the reconstruct autonomy and increased the condition cognitive-affective.
