摘要：Considered today as one of the sports that attracts more young people around the world, especially in the
United States and Brazil, the skating was not always the process of esportivization toward the "cult" of
radical maneuvers or the formation of counter urban. This article, the result of some researches for a
doctorate in history, both find evidence of a past unknown skate - on the play and the emergence and
development of skating - the question silently in the behalf of a joint, by marketing bias, between sports and
counterculture.
