摘要：In this article I tried to the concubinage as the several social agents' family option they inhabited the District of Rio das Velhas, in the Captaincy of Minas Gerais, in the period from 1720 to 1780. Through ecclesiastical and civil sources as visits pastorals, ecclesiastical profligates and testaments had been examined referring aspects to the biological and cultural of men and women mestization that created again manners of living and had instituted ways and alternatives that make possible them objective conditions of social and family insertion in a oppressive society.
