摘要：The main objectives of this paper are to analyze the relation between memory
and oblivion and their exterior forms to the level of physical and cultural space. The
notion of memory places (defined as accumulations of signs of identity and their
materializations) is presented in its two manifestations: as memory landmarks (connection
points to the collective past) and as memory signs. The distinction is based on the power
of memory to remind us who we are, but also what we forgot about ourselves. We divided
the paper in several parts.
