摘要：With examples of people living with physical disabilities in Northern Uganda during and after the insecurity, this
article describes the challenges they have experienced, but also their hope for a better future. Through their own
efforts and with some support from others, they have managed to give a meaning to their lives that goes far beyond
disability, and to be valued as important members in their communities.
