摘要：The promotion of the development in diverse parts of the world, for governments, agencies and organized society, has presented diverse politics and experiences in its conduction as well as changes of orientation in last the 15 years. The objective in this work is the reflection on these changes and its implications for the agricultural and regional development. The ideas presented here are the resultant preliminary notes of a research that deals with the construction of politics and institutions for the sustainable agricultural development (Production des Politiques et Compromis Institutionnels autour du Développement Durable - PROPOCID), searching identify them in the region of the Valley of the Taquari, Rio Grande do Sul.
