As reported in BMSAES 10 , the British Museum is carrying out an epigraphic survey of the pharaonic rock-inscriptions at the site of Tombos in the Northern Sudan. In 2008, the work was devoted to a group of inscriptions located on the east bank of the Nile.
One of the main results of the season is published here. A new record of a stela representing two senior officials of the reign of King Amenhotep II of Dynasty 18. The paper considers the significance of the stela and publishes other related monuments.
