摘要:The orientalizating collection from Cerro Alcalá (Torres, Jaén). Questions
of chronology, context and interpretation. The important amount of vessels with figurative deco-
ration force towards a better knowledge of the context in wich appear. The publication of one of the vessels from Cerro Alcalá could be completed now with other similar, probably associated with the
grave goods. All the pottery assemblage could belong to the same chronological and cultural hori-
zon, independently whether it is from a mortuary context or not. The studied amphora, decorated
with grifíbns, helps in the understanding of the iconography known from these vessels, and points
to the existence of artistic workshop. Not only these mentioned amphorae, but the recently known
from the Museo de Cabra, could belong to one of this workshop.
